This site is dedicated towards researching the spread of
misinformation regarding the Corona virus, and how it
has affected the general public. Misinformation has
played a key in the spread of Covid-19 as people have
been ill-equipped to defend themselves from Covid-19.

Misinformation has played a key part in the spread
of Covid - 19. Misinformation can create a false sense
of security or create the idea that the virus is simply
not real or create the notion it's not that serious.
But has misinformation been really as wide spread as it
has appeared? The answer, unfortunately, is yes. Their are
multiple websites that have been spreading false information
when it comes to spread, case numbers, or how dangerous the
virus is. Here is a link to a website that tracks multiple
websites and checks if they have posted misinformation in
regards to the Corona Virus. Statistics show websites are
affecting the public the most, as 10% of websites reporting
on Corona Virus have spread misinformation.

short period of time. This is due to people not following
social distancing rules or because of misinformation.
